I live in
Vidyanagar, Hyderabad with my husband Mr Munigal Gopal Rao. He was
recently awarded
the State award for Social Service. I have two daughters Aditya
Chiluka and Achala
Munigal-Pulagara both of who have done MLISc. I have three
grand children

1. My first
appointment was as a Cataloguer in Osmania University Main Library on
27th August 1964.
Worked in Osmania University Library from 1964 August to August
1979. My
designation changed as Library Assistant in 1969. Worked in OU main
library
for a total of 15
years.
2. Transferred on
promotion as Assistant Librarian in Women’s College Koti from August
1979 to July 1987
for 8 years.
3. Transferred to
Astronomy Department Seminar Library from July 1987 to November
1994. Worked there
for 7 years.
4. Transferred to
P.G. College Secundrabad in December 1994. Worked till December
1997 for 3 years.
5. Transferred to
NERTU on 1st December 1997 & will retire on 30th May 2004 on
super annuation
having worked for 7 years.
I will have put in
a total of 40 years by the year 2004 as a Librarian in the service, in
Osmania
